Adjustable from 18mm to 36mm - designed for low threshold height projects
The Low-Profile 1836 pedestal is a specially designed support for use in areas where low threshold heights are encountered. Each support is composed of a threaded head section, with a fixing flange with srew slot for attaching to the joist or beam. The head is wide enough to accept joists up to 3" (75mm) wide and is suitable for all common heights.
An easy to operate threaded adjustment ring makes raising or lowering the head really quick and precise. Height adjustments can be made without removing the joists thus allowing for extremely easy and fast installation. As standard each Low-Level 1836 pedestal comes complete with one 3/8" (9mm) extender ring (this can be fitted by lifting the head out of the base, inserting the ring and replacing the head).
A large 8" (200mm) base plate provides stable support on most surfaces. Scribe marks are provided on the underside to assist in trimming for use at sides and corners of installations. An optional 1/8" (3mm) thick anti-slip, cushioning, rubber base ring is available for use on membranes, etc. This effectively reduces transmitted noise where decks are mounted on balconies or roof areas, as well as for floors in multi-occupancy buildings.
StrataRise pedestals are robust and can withstand high loads of at least 1760 lbs (800Kg) at maximum height extension (i.e. with one thread engaged). Normal pedestal spacing for installations is at 500mm to 600mm centers for most projects, potentially saving up to 50% on units required for many projects when compared with other systems.
