StrataRise Multi-Level Max-Range Pedestals have a pedestal base designed for higher rise installations of Joist supported Decks or for Pavers and Deck Tiles. With a reinforced raised level base stand and over 100mm (4") of adjustment as standard, this range starts from an installation height of 115mm (4.53") and adjusts up to 220mm (8.66") as standard. The installation height can be increased in steps of 100mm (4") using Stratarise EX100 QuickClick extensions as required. Please note - for high rise installations it is essential to ensure the structure is anchored to prevent lateral movements.
StrataMax multi-level pedestals make it easy to achieve perfect flatness of the final floor, deck or paved area. The system is very easy to use and aids quick, precise and professional installation.
Each support is composed of a threaded head section, with a vertical flange for fixing joists into position, or with 4 tabs, 4mm (5/32") in width, for tile or paver spacing, Spacer tabs are individually removable to enable the supports to be used in areas where no separation is required, such as under the centres of large slabs, or at T-joints and sides.
An easy to operate threaded adjustment ring makes raising or lowering the head really quick and precise. Height adjustments can be made without removing the paver or tile thus allowing for extremely easy and fast installation.
The large 8" (200mm) reinforced raised base plate provides stable support on most surfaces. Scribe marks are provided on the underside to assist in trimming for use at sides and corners of installations. An optional 3mm (1/8") thick anti-slip, cushioning, rubber base ring is available for use on membranes, etc. This effectively reduces transmitted noise where pavers and decks are mounted on balconies or roof areas.
We recommend the use of our optional acoustic cushioning ring for the support head area for tile and paver installations. These help to bed corners securely, prevent any rattling, and reduce transmitted noise through the support system.
StrataMax pedestal supports are tested to withstand loads of 2350 lbs (1065Kg) at their weakest setting, i.e. maximum height adjustment with just one thread engaged, and more at lower adjustments.
